Meanings of LMAO, ROFL, LOL, XD, :)), =))

Hi Guys,

How many of us know the meaning of these acronyms, slang, symbol or emoticons?  LMAO, ROFL, LOL, XD, :)), =)) . We maybe aware with some of them but certainly not all of them.  If you do, then congratulations! but for most of us, well... These words and symbols now lead to this question..

Are we outdated? Yes! , meaning, out of the "in-loop" when in comes to slang, chat, PM, text or SMS lingo.

I realized that I am when my friend came to me and asked me if I knew the meaning of ROFL.Unfortunately, I don't.  :(

So we tried Google, and it directed us to some FB (Facebook) sites which forces us to visit other sites and to no avail, none! isn't that frustrating? hehehe!

Guys, knowing this lingo is important because language are always evolving.  Whether we like it or not, we need to know this to be informed, to know what our kids were talking and not to be too alienated about it.

Remember, communication is important, right? so here it is.

We were able to find Online Slang Dictionary  after all the strain and handwork from Google Search Engine.

So here is the site:
